I am a London-based photographer specialising in portraiture and fashion. I studied drawing and painting at the Fine Arts School in Warsaw from the age of 11, and my work in photography began at 16, and is heavily Influenced by the discipline of drawing and painting.
At 20 I studied digital photography at Ravensbourne University in North Greenwich. My early training gives my work a distinct, painterly quality and sets me apart from many other photographers.
As I start the process of making a photograph, I try to see, understand and connect with my subject whether it is a person or an object. Everything from the background, set design, details and composition has to be subordinated to, and complement the principal subject.
I like to be as involved in the process as possible, choosing locations, models and designers carefully to create a mood that is appropriate to the theme of the project. As much as I like to be in charge of every aspect of the process, I also love to collaborate with others.
I shoot both outdoors and indoors, and I am very open to new challenges. I create images that are based on memories, and dreams. Some inspiration comes from paintings, drawings and film. I love the creative industry.
I am used to working in a demanding environment, I hate being bored, and I love to be challenged and proactive. I am hardworking and very keen on using my skills to fit any challenge.
